Rodan + Fields was ready to launch a new level of skincare product to feature as an Enhancement, a current product group lacking in established packaging finesse. The challenge was to find a way to elevate the new product into a more prestige marketplace, but also kept within the same group of products with the more dermatological look. Extensive research was done to find similar upscale products with which we wanted to compete. Applying the brand gray and white of the current group of Enhancements, I suggested a matte metallic version for both the component and the outer packaging. Adjusting the typeface weight, as well as simplifying other graphic elements, I created a more elegant look that still nodded to the clinical backing, but felt more luxurious.
